New Patient Information

Our  lines can be busy but our Intake Specialist will try to return your  call within 48 hrs. Should you not be able to reach us by phone, please leave a detailed voice message so we can get back to you.


*New patients please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to set aside time to fill-out the required new patient paperwork; otherwise, you may download the appropriate paperwork  to fill and bring with you to your scheduled appointment.

INSURANCE:
To better serve our patients we are working towards getting enrolled with many well known insurance carriers.

At the present time we are accepting new patients who are either self-paid patients or are members of one of the following insurance companies:
AETNA
Blue Cross / Blue Shield PPO
CIGNA
UBH

Tricare

For patients with PPO plans that are not BCBS, AETNA, or CIGNA, Austin Family Psychiatry will be glad to provide you with a receipt that includes all of the information necessary for filing a claim with your insurance company.
Please remember to contact your insurance company for information regarding your out of network benefits.



UNTIMELY CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW POLICY:
Please remember that your appointment time is reserved just for you. To avoid charges, please provide at least 48 business hours advance notification of cancellation. Otherwise, you are responsible for the entire appointment fee whether present or not. For example, if you are cancelling an appointment on Friday for a visit on Monday, you may be responsible for a no-show / cancellation fee of $50 (since the 48hrs fall outside of business hours).
