Saba Arshad PharmD, RPh is a clinical pharmacist with over a decade of experience and a special focus on pharmacogenomics. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2013 and is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas.
Motivated by deeply personal experiences—watching loved ones suffer from debilitating medication side effects—and years spent in community pharmacy witnessing patients
overwhelmed by complex medication regimens, Saba brings both heart and expertise to her work. She has seen firsthand how standard approaches can fail, leaving individuals
feeling frustrated, hopeless, or unheard. That’s why she is passionate about changing the narrative.
In 2022, she founded Med-DNA Health, a consulting practice grounded in pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing and holistic care. Her approach goes beyond prescriptions to address the full picture of health, including: Deprescribing unnecessary
or medications or supplements in, identifying nutrient deficiencies caused by long-term drug use, Managing drug-gene and drug-nutrient interactions and supporting natural
detoxification pathways and metabolism.
She has completed advanced training and certifications through the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and Mayo Clinic, reinforcing her dedication to clinical
excellence in personalized care. Her professional background includes roles at URAC Specialty Pharmacy (Boston), PGx consulting, Medical writing and Hormone
Compounding Pharmacist. She actively collaborates with physicians, mental health providers, and other healthcare professionals.
Beyond her clinical work, Saba also serves as an Ambassador for NAMI Central Texas and on the Board of Directors at Eixsys Healthcare systems, a nonprofit expanding
access to primary care for uninsured and underserved populations. She also recently launched the Transform 360 podcast, where she explores the stigma around mental
health and discusses topics that educate, empower, and inspire us.
