WAVi Brain Scan

WAVi is an all-in-one brain measurement platform which provides objective information about brain function using well-established evoked EEG technology to measure the brain's activity. It is non-invasive, safe and HIPAA compliant.

WAVi

In the same way an EKG enables to capture vital data, WAVi, which is a non-diagnostic EEG technology, assists doctors, trainers and other healthcare professionals with quick and efficient assessment to measure brain function non-invasively in real time. Comprised of a low-cost electroencephalogram (EEG) headset and simple analytical report-generating software that downloads onto a standard laptop computer, this technology gives practitioners a more accurate picture of a patient’s objective brain health.

The EEG reports are instant and compare up to four EEG sessions, providing a longitudinal view of patient progress by merging recurring assessments into one report. WAVi is used as a 10-20 position EEG device that measures the P300. Our P300 brain assessment will display brain physiology, i.e., amplitude/voltage, cortical reaction time and physical reaction time in less than 30 minutes and provide patients with objective data for cognitive performance, depression, anxiety, ADHD and other health concerns related to brain performance.

Who should get a WAVi brain scan?

Similar to routine measures such as blood pressure or heart rate, the WAVi test provides objective information about how your brain is performing. It includes measures of brain speed, brain wave power and reaction time. Understanding these measurements and tracking them over time can help answer questions such as:

-How is my brain changing as I age?

-How can I improve my brain performance?

-What impact are treatments and interventions having on my brain?

-How do my brain metrics relate to my mental health?

Like all organs in your body, your brain changes over time and it's best to track these changes regularly. Regular tracking using objective markers enables you and your practitioner to better manage potential cognitive decline, unexpected health circumstances and lifestyle changes. You can then benefit from personalized treatment programs and improved care. Here is a list of some conditions for which WAVi test results can be helpful:

  • Family history of dementia
  • Personal history of head or brain injury
  • Personal history of cancer chemotherapy
  • High risk sports participation (football, soccer, mountain biking, etc.)
  • Loss of taste or hearing
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes or high blood sugar
  • High Cholesterol
  • History of Stroke
  • Smoking
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Insomnia
  • Prolonged general anesthesia
  • ADHD
  • Chronic neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s Disease
  • Open Heart Surgery
  • Depression
  • Menopausal cognitive decline
  • Anyone who is concerned about their memory
